Basic Life Support
This is the most common CPR class for Healthcare Providers.
Basic Life Support is CPR for persons who either work in or who want to work in healthcare. This class teaches CPR, relief of choking, use of the AED, rescue breathing, and bag-valve mask resuscitation to adults, children, and infants. This class is perfect for students who either currently work in a healthcare related field or for students who are studying courses in healthcare related fields.
Ask your employer and/or your accreditation institution that oversees your credentials as to which class is required for your licensure / certification.
- A 25 question multiple choice a test is administered after the completion of class.
- A passing score of 84% or better is required before your card can be issued.
- A successful Skills Test is required to complete this class.
