Basic Life Support

This is the most common CPR class for Healthcare Providers.

Basic Life Support is CPR for persons who either work in or who want to work in healthcare. This class is perfect for students who either currently work in a healthcare related field or for students who are studying courses in healthcare related fields.

Objectives include:

  • CPR for the adult, child, and infant
  • Relief of choking for the adult, child, and infant
  • Use of the AED for the adult, child, and infant
  • Rescue breathing for the adult, child, and infant
  • Intro to CPR with an advanced airway
  • Bag-Valve Mask ventilation for the adult, child, and infant
  • 1 and 2 person CPR for the adult, child, and infant

Ask your employer and/or your accreditation institution that oversees your credentials as to which class is required for your licensure / certification.

* A 25 question multiple choice a test is administered after the completion of class.
* A passing score of 84% or better is required before your eCard is to be issued.
* A successful Skills Test is required to complete this class before your eCard is to be issued.
