CPR / AED with First Aid Skills Check

This is a hybrid American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid / CPR / AED class.
The CPR / AED portion of this class will take place in the classroom and the First Aid portion is done via the Internet before class.
Students will then stay after class to complete the First Aid Skills Check portion of the class in order to receive their course completion eCard.
All age groups are covered in the instructor of this class.

This class is designed for individuals who need a First Aid / CPR / AED card for either personal fulfillment or for work purposes in industries NOT involved with medicine/healthcare.  It is best to ask your employer which class is required for your employment or your academic requirements.  This class is perfect for the layperson, the fitness instructor, the educator, or the childcare professional. This class is also appropriate for parents or couples ready to adopt, expectant parents, or anyone who does not work in any kind of medical/healthcare industry.

Please note: If you work in any kind of healthcare or medical field, or are a student of, or plan to work or go to school for any kind of medical profession this is likely NOT the appropriate class for you. You should consider taking BLS for Healthcare Providers. Heartsaver CPR / AED Objectives:

  • CPR for the Adult, Child, and Infant
  • Choking for the Adult, Child, and Infant
  • Use of the Automatic External Defibrillator for the Adult, Child, and Infant

Heartsaver First Aid Objectives:

  • First Aid instruction includes stopping bleeding, wounds, choking, shock, seizure, fainting, and more.

Students will receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid / CPR / AED provider card (or eCard) that is valid for two years at the end of the class once all objectives have been successfully completed by the student.
